Morning Recovery Donates to USC School of Pharmacy.

Proud to gift our grant to the USC School of Pharmacy, the first in a continued commitment to support their groundbreaking work in human health and recovery. (That’s me on the right and the Dean of the USC School of Pharmacy, Vassilios Papadopoulos, on the left.)
If you’ve been following the Morning Recovery journey from idea to a million-dollar brand in three months, you know there are a few things that cause me to geek out: research, productivity and helping people like us live life at the top of our game.
Turns out, I’m not the only one who shares these values. Early on in my exploration of morning-after drinks, I shared my passion for DHM (dihydromyricetin) over dinner with Dr. Jing Liang, a professor at USC and a leading researcher in finding healthy ways to sidestep the effects of drinking too much. I realized that not only was DHM powerful and had real market potential, but USC was the epicenter of cutting-edge research in this area.
Since that dinner, Dr. Liang has worked on all of the foundational research behind DHM, our liver superhero. From concept and sampling to our breakthrough formulas, USC has been our partner. Morning Recovery is committed to working with them to innovate new solutions for living a full, rich life you love without losing time the next day. We do this through funding, R&D, manufacturing, retail and more based on our mutual commitment to research, higher standards of innovation in human health and overall quality of life.
Morning Recovery’s most recent gift to the university supports the USC School of Pharmacy’s Boldly First Initiative. It’s a $100 million, multi-year endeavor that ensures the school sets the highest standards of excellence in education, research and clinical practice for years to come. This endeavor fuels their impact on the pharmacy profession and human health as well as missions like ours at Morning Recovery.
I couldn’t be prouder to have partners making such profound and indelible impact on the everyday lives of people. And I couldn’t be happier that they’ve helped me create a drink that empowers you to maximize your potential so you can do more of what you love.
As we like to say at HQ, bottoms up to a better tomorrow!
